Affordable Da Nang to Nha Trang Night Bus Travel Guide for Budget Explorers

[Ticket Purchase]
1⃣️ Start by downloading the Vexere app to your device.
2⃣️ On the second page, enter your departure point as Da Nang, destination as Nha Trang, and select your preferred travel date.
3⃣️ On the third page, choose a bus that fits your schedule and budget. I opted for a 34-seater bus from Lien Hung, which departs at 19:00 and arrives in Nha Trang around 7:00 the next morning.

The cost is 330,000 VND, making it the most economical option. While the seats are not overly spacious, they offer a comfortable ride, though you won’t be able to fully recline. For those who prefer more luxury, there are options available for around 490,000 VND.
4⃣️ On the fourth page, pick your seat.

Booking early gives you a wider selection, and choosing a downstairs seat can be more convenient.
5⃣️ On the fifth page, select your pick-up location in Da Nang. My chosen pick-up point was Bến Xe Khách Đà Nẵng, the same place where the bus from Hanoi to Da Nang dropped me off.
6⃣️ On the sixth page, specify your drop-off point in Nha Trang.

I selected 77 Thai Nguyen as my final destination.
7⃣️ On the seventh page, enter your personal details, including your name, phone number (a local number is acceptable), and email address.
8⃣️ On the eighth page, choose Credit/Debit card as your payment method.
9⃣️ On the ninth page, input your international credit card information (Visa or MasterCard) and complete the transaction.

[Waiting for the Bus]
There’s no need to print a physical ticket; simply head to the waiting room at Bến Xe Khách Đà Nẵng. It’s advisable to arrive about 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. My bus was set to leave at 19:00, and it arrived at the waiting area at 18:30. Look for the bus with “Lien Hung” on its side, double-check the license plate, show the e-ticket on your Vexere app to the driver, and you’re all set to board.

[Riding the Bus]
1⃣️ Once aboard, you’ll find a thin blanket and a bottle of mineral water provided for your comfort. There are USB charging ports, but many are out of order, so it’s wise to have a fully charged power bank.
2⃣️ The bus will make several stops along the way, allowing you to stretch your legs and use the restroom.

3⃣️ Around 6:00 the next morning, the bus will stop about 10 kilometers from the final destination in Nha Trang. You’ll then wait for a minibus transfer, which in my case took about 40 minutes.
4⃣️ Finally, take the minibus into the heart of Nha Trang, completing your journey.

[Money-Saving Tips]
🌟 To reach the bus pick-up point in Da Nang, I took bus number 16. The service is infrequent, and I had to wait for about 20 minutes. The driver charged me 30,000 VND because of my large suitcase [laughing], but it was still cheaper than a taxi.
🌟 In Nha Trang, I booked a hostel 1.6 kilometers from the drop-off point and walked there, saving on additional transportation costs.
