Discover Hoi An: Best Things to Do on Your Vietnam Trip 5
One of my favorite spots in Vietnam is the enchanting ancient town of Hoi An. It seamlessly blends the vibrant energy of a bustling city with the serene charm of the countryside, all infused with a rich local flavor. The old town is a captivating mosaic of Chinese assembly halls, traditional Vietnamese architecture, and remnants from the French colonial era, creating a unique tapestry of cultures.

Strolling through its narrow streets is a delightful experience, where you can easily stumble upon a quaint street-side coffee shop. Grab a small stool, savor the most authentic and down-to-earth coffee culture in Vietnam, and soak in the leisurely pace of life. If you’re a fan of performances, don’t miss the “Hoi An Impression” show, which I found particularly familiar and engaging.

The graceful dance of Vietnamese girls in their flowing ao dai dresses left an indelible impression on me.

For our stay in Hoi An, we chose the Gallery Hotel, a gem that perfectly embodies cultural fusion. This exquisite hotel not only offers a comfortable stay but also delights with its subtle lemongrass scent, which filled our room with a refreshing aroma.

When it comes to dining, I opted for a blend of Vietnamese and French cuisine, providing a diverse and delectable array of dishes to choose from. This culinary fusion adds another layer of richness to the Hoi An experience, making every meal a memorable adventure.
