Nha Trang, Vietnam 🇻🇳 Jelly Island Tour 🏝️
Visa: Secure your visa in advance through a travel agency on 🍑 for 220 yuan. The process is quick, with the visa typically issued within 5 working days.
📱 SIM Card: We recommend purchasing a SIM card online before your trip, as it’s significantly cheaper. We bought ours at Hanoi airport for 100 yuan, but you can save by ordering ahead.

🚗✈️ Transportation: Our journey began with a scenic 2.5-hour drive from Nanning to Friendship Pass. Upon arrival, we breezed through the self-service passport check, where friendly staff inquired about our travel plans. We were honest and said we were there for tourism. After a short 10-minute walk, we reached the Lang Son border entry point in Vietnam.

No tips were necessary, and the queue moved swiftly, taking only about 10 minutes. Once in Vietnam, we hopped into a pre-arranged car rental, which cost around 100 yuan per person, and headed straight to Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi. From there, we caught a budget-friendly flight to Nha Trang (flights from Hanoi to other cities are surprisingly affordable, often just a few hundred yuan).

For local transportation, Grab is a convenient option, accepting cash payments and making it easy to get around.

🏨 Accommodation: We highly recommend the PANAMA Nha Trang Hotel, offering a luxurious sea view room with breakfast for over 100 yuan per person. The hotel boasts an incredible infinity pool on the rooftop, and the rooms are impeccably clean and well-maintained. The receptionist was exceptionally helpful, speaking fluent Chinese and assisting us with booking a car to the airport.

The beach is just a 10-minute stroll away, and the area is bustling with restaurants, ATMs, convenience stores, and street stalls. Many sea view hotels in Nha Trang are quite affordable, making it a great choice for travelers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Island hopping day tour 🏝️: Explore the stunning Black Island, Swallow Island, and Silkworm Island for 220 RMB. At 8 am, a guide arranged a comfortable car to pick us up from the hotel and take us to the pier. We set out to sea on a speedboat, diving into the crystal-clear, jelly-like waters for some unforgettable snorkeling.

The vibrant marine life, including small fish and colorful corals, was a treat to see. The final stop, Silkworm Island, offered a unique mud bath experience. Our guide was fantastic, providing thorough safety instructions to ensure a worry-free adventure. We returned to Nha Trang around 3:30 pm, and the guide arranged a car to take us back to the hotel.

🍽️ Dining: Every Vietnamese restaurant we tried on the street was a culinary delight!!!
Currency exchange 💴 Payment: In Nha Trang, many convenience stores accept vx or zfb, and there are numerous places to exchange currency at a rate of 1:3400/3500. It’s wise to compare rates and ask around before making an exchange.
