Discover the Breathtaking Beauty of Halong Bay, Vietnam π»π³
On the first day, I embarked on a one-day tour to the breathtaking Halong Bay. The early morning start at 8 am was a bit of a struggle [laugh-cry], but the entire day turned out to be an incredible experience π.

ποΈ The stunning scenery of Halong Bay is reminiscent of the picturesque landscapes of Guilin in China and is recognized as one of the eight natural wonders of the world. The bay is dotted with unique rock formations, such as the Fighting Cock Rock, Incense Burner Rock, and Wolf Dog Rock. A visit to Moonlight Bay and Paradise Island offers a chance to climb to the top and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire bay.

The karst caves at the summit are truly awe-inspiring, with their dramatic and intricate interiors.

π° For just 260 RMB, the tour was an absolute steal! It included round-trip transportation, a delightful boat ride π£, and a sumptuous lunchπ₯£ (so delicious that I was too busy savoring every bite to remember taking photos π·). The afternoon tea was also a treat, featuring a variety of fruits, chips, cookies, and even a glass of red wine π·.

π The journey from Hanoi took nearly 5 hours by car, and now I understand why we had such an early start. The travel time was indeed long [disappointed], but once we reached the pier, a 30-minute boat ride π’ made the trip all the more enjoyable. The serene waters and the gentle breeze were the perfect prelude to the adventures that awaited us.

π€οΈ In the evening, I visited the bustling train station π, which reminded me of the famous Maeklong Railway Market in Thailand. Since we were already there, we couldn’t miss the chance to experience it [sly smile]. The vibrant atmosphere and the unique blend of local life and tourism made it a memorable stop.

It was a truly delightful day π₯³.
