Discover the Stunning Beauty of Nha Trang, Vietnam’s Picturesque Coastal Paradise
The spontaneous journey continued with unstoppable momentum. After a brief two-day respite following my return from the UK, I hopped on a flight straight to Nha Trang, Vietnam. With 1000 RMB converted into Vietnamese Dong, I was ready to embark on a new adventure.

I boarded a boat to a secluded private island, and the breathtaking beauty of the sea left me in awe. The serene atmosphere was so enchanting that I felt as if simply lying there, basking in the gentle sea breeze, and sipping a cup of coffee would be the perfect way to spend my days. The cost of living here is surprisingly low, offering better value than even popular destinations like Thailand or Sanya.

Scuba diving, for instance, costs just 300 RMB, and the instructors are incredibly attentive. Unlike some other places, they don’t cut off your oxygen or push you to make additional purchases. If you feel uncomfortable, you can surface, communicate, and then continue at your own pace, without any strict time constraints.

They guide you through an underwater wonderland, taking you far out, maintaining a positive attitude, and even capturing the experience with videos and photos. It’s an absolute must-try.

My travel companions also tried paragliding, which was a thrilling 400 RMB for two people, and we were almost in stitches from laughing so hard. The 360-degree video footage made this experience unforgettable. Jet skiing, also priced at 400 RMB for two, allowed us to let loose and have a blast.

The street is lined with seafood restaurants, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. We ordered a feast, and for ten people, the total came to just 2300 RMB. Blue-tailed crabs and black tiger prawns were 550,000 VND per kilogram, giant mantis shrimp was 350,000 VND, sea urchins were only a little over ten RMB each, and a large lobster was around 200 RMB. It was a luxurious meal at a fraction of the cost.

If I get another holiday, I could definitely see myself returning with a group of friends to relive these incredible experiences.
