Discovering Conversation Companions: Chatting on a Motorcycle Trip in Vietnam

My Vietnamese e-visa is now in hand, and I’m all set to enter Vietnam via the Friendship Pass on March 28th. My journey will kick off in Hanoi, and from there, I’ll be embarking on an adventurous motorcycle ride all the way down to Ho Chi Minh City. This thrilling trip is expected to take around 20 days. If any long-term Chinese residents or overseas Chinese are in the area, I’d love to meet up for a coffee and share stories!

I plan to keep everyone updated with the expenses of this motorcycle adventure, which could serve as a useful reference for future travelers. Here’s a breakdown of my current costs:

– E-visa: 187.42 RMB (25 USD) + 1 RMB for printing
– Airfare: 405 RMB
– Subway ticket: 9.9 RMB
– Accommodation in Nanning: 139 RMB (shared by 2 people)

Total: approximately 673 RMB
