Although the traffic is very chaotic and the air quality is poor, the public security is better than expected, and it’s safe even past 10 PM, with no motorcycle gangs as imagined. The buildings are not tall and lack uniform planning, but they all have unique characteristics. It’s hard to imagine that a country with a per capita GDP of less than $5,000 has citizens with such aesthetic sensibilities.
