Explore Hanoi’s Train Street at Night: Best Times and Local Tips
3.23-3.27 Leading a Tour in Halong and Hanoi
On the day we headed to Hanoi, we received news that Train Street was closed. As we passed by, it was indeed completely sealed off, and the group members were quite disappointed, not expecting to see it at all. However, during our free time in the evening, I decided to check it out with two of my fellow travelers.

After our visit, while taking a taxi back to the hotel, I suggested we swing by Train Street one more time. To our surprise, it was open, and we managed to catch the last train just in time!

🍜
I highly recommend everyone try the Vietnamese noodles shown in picture 2. The noodles are incredibly fresh and smooth, offering a delightful contrast to the ones I’ve had over the past few days. The taste is so refreshing that I’m still savoring it even after returning home. Despite the long queue, it moves quickly, making the wait well worth it.

☕️
Right next to the church, there’s a charming three-story café. It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink after a tiring walk, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

🥪
The Vietnamese sandwich near the church, on the other hand, is just average in my opinion. The flavor isn’t particularly impressive, and the line can be quite long, so I wouldn’t highly recommend it.
