Relaxing Escape: Choosing Cam Ranh Seaside Resort Over Bustling Nha Trang City

This is my first visit to Nha Trang, and during my hotel research, I discovered a plethora of seaside resorts near Cam Ranh Airport. I chose to stay at the Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh Bay.

The room rate is quite reasonable, with prices under 800 yuan per night, including breakfast. During the low season, it can even drop to around 600 yuan. For me, the allure of a private beach with fewer tourists, coupled with the clear and pristine seawater, was irresistible compared to the bustling city.

At the front desk, there’s a friendly, fair-skinned girl who speaks excellent English, making check-in and any other interactions a breeze. The hotel is just a ten-minute taxi ride from the airport, and about forty minutes to the city center. Its distance from residential areas means no disruptive motorcycle noise, though the recent windy weather has made the sound of the waves more noticeable at night.

The hotel’s breakfast is a delightful experience; I enjoyed PHO and baguettes for two consecutive days. If you plan to explore the city, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus service that runs twice daily into the city and once back. It’s advisable to book your spot directly at the front desk.

Overall, my stay was highly enjoyable. For families, I would recommend booking a villa, which comes with a private swimming pool and is surprisingly affordable.
